Compliance. In one place.
Our Mission
We put special emphasis on spreading compliance awareness in Hungary.
In order to achieve this goal it is upmost important to make the Hungarian and international news, professional materials, job offers, services, available trainings, professional workshops, events, and courses in each area of corporate lines of defense available to the domestic professional audience as widely as possible.
The company’s lines of defense are a coherent system of tools, methods and procedures that ensure the fulfillment of the organization’s mission, reliable and efficient operation.
The three main lines of defense are:
-
- First Line of Defence: controls built into the internal operating processes;
- Second Line of Defence: control functions (e.g. compliance, risk control); and
- Third Line of Defence: independent internal audit.
Details:
First line of defense: This is a system of internal control points built into the internal operating processes, which is the primary defense against potential malfunctions, errors and irregularities. It is most directly related to daily tasks.
Second line of defense: This includes control functions such as compliance and risk management. They ensure that the first line of defense works and monitor risks and their mitigation.
Third line of defense: This role is provided by the independent internal audit function. The purpose of internal audit is to comprehensively evaluate the organization’s operations and the effectiveness of internal control systems.
Objectives
These lines of defense help companies meet their mission by ensuring reliability, efficiency, and sustainable operations.
